My 3-D Sculptures and Set

SELF SCULPT OF JACK

I am really happy with this sculpt I did because of the detail and smooth finish I achieved.

This self portrait sculpt was done in Super Sculpey firm.
I started by making the overall shape of my armature with wire that I then wrapped with foil to bulk it up.
Next I placed the Super Sculpey Firm clay around the figure and started cutting out the grooves to make the details.
to finish off the sculpture I added clay to make the hair clothes and bracelets before baking it in the oven to harden the sculpt.

I did the same for this sculpture as I had for the one above, but before I baked the sculpture I rubbed lighter fluid into the clay to make it smoother and then rubbed it down with sandpaper after I had taken it out of the oven for a similar result.

Home sweet home... well it was at one point, This fire damaged living room is My favourite set I have built to date. To create this room I used hot glue to stick 4 pieces of chip board together to make the floor, two walls and ceiling. With this starting point done I proceeded to chop up lolly pop sticks to make floor boards that I stuck down with PVC glue then painted it with a mix of brown paint and wood dye. The carpet was cut out of a old Jacket I found and placed down. Next I made the door and furniture by calving into balsa wood and sticking extra pieces on. The books took the longest to make as I had to cut out hundreds of pieces of paper to a certain size for the pages, the I had to cut out covers using cardboard attached to wire that I then wrapped in print out book covers. Then glue all of the parts together in a way that the books would open and close. The wall paper was easiest as I simply bought some normal wall paper cut it into lengths and stuck it down in ways to make it appear as if it was peeling off the wall. To finish off I applied the burnt effect by getting a lighter and holding it close to the objects that I wanted to turn chard.
